RemoteDerm is a Teledermatology platform which was established by Board Certified Dermatologists in Canada as a response to significant shortage of dermatologists across Canada. Patients wait on average several months for their in office dermatology appointment. While Teledermatology is not designed as a replacement to office visit, it providers a convenient, safe, confidential and affordable means to have a direct communication with Canadian Board Certified Dermatologists within few hours in the comfort & convenient of your home. Teledermatology has its own limitations, it relies on a two dimensional image or video visit and doesn’t have access to skin biopsy. However, many skin conditions can be accurately diagnosed through high quality images or video visits. We will make an office visit recommendation if you need to receive a skin biopsy by your family physician or local dermatologist. We are able to provide dermatological recommendations for patients in all Canadian provinces and territories: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan as well as Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon territories.

We treat diverse skin conditions including acne, eczema, hand dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, poison ivy dermatitis, skin rash, skin infection, psoriasis, rosacea, wart, herpes infection, hair loss, hair thinning, ringworm, vitiligo, hives, nail fungus, itchy scalp, dandruff as well as cosmetic dermatology conditions including wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and abnormal skin texture.
